Winter Light
The collaborative installation, WINTER LIGHT, is an immersive experience that enables the audience to move through the clarity/quiet and the light/dark of winter light. The forms and imagery are drawn from nature, handcrafted in various media by each artist, evoking the senses of winter.

Breschi: Utilizing the tree as a symbol of shelter, sections of the exhibit are transformed with branches bathed in WINTER LIGHT; branches with diverse curves, movements and strength. Each fallen branch has been chosen from wide ranging and intentional areas within the community. The connectivity of the branches represents an inclusive community; one that exposes itself to a light of clarity and peace and one which moves gracefully through the installation as a powerful sheltering piece.
The chair installation, “Fallen” by Carrie Breschi, is made from found wood. It encourages the audience to consider taking a moment to sit in solitude and to consider their place in the community. Beauty can be found in the fallen but, sometimes, it takes a community to build up the weak and the fallen.
